Chula Participates in the “Innovation Thailand Top Executives Meeting” to Elevate Thailand’s Tourism Industry 

On November 13, 2025, Prof. Dr. Pornanong Aramwit, Vice President of Chulalongkorn University, was designated by Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, to attend the “Innovation Thailand Top Executives Meeting” under the theme “Tourism Industry Innovation Ecosystem towards Innovation Nation”, organized by the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) at the Garden Deck, 7th Floor, Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, Bangkok.  

The event was opened by Dr. Krithpaka Boonfueng, Director of the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization), and featured a special lecture on “NIA and the Next Step of Thailand’s Innovation Ecosystem in the Tourism Industry.” This was followed by an exchange of innovation experiences among more than 20 leading organizations within Thailand’s tourism innovation ecosystem. Prof. Dr. Pornanong Aramwit spoke on behalf of Chulalongkorn University as a representative of a leading educational institution. 

The purpose of the event was to foster collaboration among agencies from all sectors in building an innovation ecosystem for the tourism industry and to elevate Thailand’s tourism sector. This was achieved through networking and sharing innovation experiences among top executives from organizations playing a key role in driving Thailand’s tourism innovation ecosystem.
