Chula and Founder Institute Launch “Go Global Startup Bootcamp” to Take Thai Startups Global

The Chulalongkorn University Innovation Hub (CU Innovation Hub), Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with Founder Institute (FI), USA, has launched the “Empowering Innovation Businesses for Global Expansion (Go Global Startup Bootcamp): Chula – DC Silicon Startup Bridge” project to develop Thai startups for the global arena. The project orientation was held on December 18–19, 2025, with Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, presiding over the opening ceremony. Professor Dr. Pornanong Aramwit, Vice President of Chulalongkorn University, delivered the project report on December 18, 2025, at Room 103, Chalermrajkumari 60th Anniversary Building (Chamchuri 10).









The event featured a panel discussion titled “Winning Go-to-Market Strategy for Global Scale,” with Mr. Guc Ozenci, Managing Director of Founder Institute, Washington, D.C. chapter; Mr. Chonchayong Trairatkeyoon, CEO & Founder of INCREDEBLE Juice, Inc.; and Prof. Dr. Jittima Luckanagul, Director of the Chulalongkorn University Innovation Hub.

Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, stated:

This collaboration with Founder Institute will help Thai startups cross borders into Silicon Valley, truly connecting innovation with the global level,” adding that “Linking innovation from Chulalongkorn University is not limited to within the university or Thailand. Thailand’s role is to bring high-quality startup innovations to the global stage. This not only creates pride in our achievements but also helps generate international revenue for the country.”

The orientation for the “Go Global Startup Bootcamp: Chula – DC Silicon Startup Bridge” aimed to introduce and welcome 33 selected startup teams from across the country, including spin-offs from Chulalongkorn University, into a structured pathway for developing innovation-driven businesses and expanding into global markets. Two top teams will be selected to participate in DC Startup & Tech Week in the United States.
