Chula–Columbia University to Co-Host 5th International Conference on Educational Leadership 

The Department of Educational Policy, Management, and Leadership, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with Teachers College, Columbia University, USA, will host the 5th International Conference on Educational System Management and Leadership (ICESML 2026) under the theme “Building the Future of Global Education through Cross-Cultural Leadership.” 

The conference will be held on May 29–30, 2026, at the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University. 

Keynote Speakers 

• Prof. Brian K. Perkins, Ed.D., Teachers College, Columbia University, USA 
• Asst. Prof. Sam Bamkin, Ph.D., Global Education Center, University of Tokyo, Japan 

Academic Presentations 

Paper and poster presentations will be organized under the following themes: 

• Global Education and Cross-Cultural Leadership 
• Educational Leadership 
• Educational Policy 
• Educational Systems 
• Educational Administration / Educational Quality Assurance 
• Educational Human Resource Management 

Innovative school management projects will be presented for consideration for the ESML School Leadership Award in the following categories: 

• Early Childhood and Primary School Administrators 
• Secondary School Administrators 
• Vocational School Administrators 
• International School Administrators 
• Educational Administrators 

Special Event 

The conference will also feature the MODEL APEC Junior – Thailand competition, a platform for secondary school students aimed at identifying and developing future Thai youth leaders.

• Conference Participants (May 29–30, 2026): 1,500 THB 
• Oral Presenters: 3,000 THB 
• Poster Presenters: 3,000 THB
