Sasin–SCGC Launch “Bangkok Business Challenge 2026” to Discover Future Business Ideas

The Sasin School of Management, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with SCG Chemicals (SCGC)—a leading integrated polymer business and provider of sustainable solutions—and its partners, is preparing to launch a platform to drive business ideas from students around the world through the Bangkok Business Challenge 2026

With over 24 years of continuous history, the Bangkok Business Challenge is the longest-running business plan competition for university students in Asia. The competition is open to students from all countries, providing an opportunity to showcase their potential and present innovative business concepts aimed at creating sustainability for the future world. The competition is held under the theme “Growing Impactful Ventures: Building Solutions for Tomorrow’s World.”  Participants will compete for an honorary trophy and total prize money of USD 42,900.

The Bangkok Business Challenge serves as a key platform to encourage students to develop and present creative ideas and new business concepts that focus on sustainability and generating positive social impact across multiple dimensions—economic, social, and environmental. The competition also provides an opportunity for students to turn their business plans into reality and further scale them to the global level.

Interested students can apply to participate in the Bangkok Business Challenge 2026 from February 2 to March 15, 2026.  Teams that pass the selection process will advance to the final round, which will be held from May 21 to 23, 2026, at the Sasin School of Management, Chulalongkorn University. Applications can be submitted via bbc.sasin.edu. For more information or inquiries, please follow the Facebook page Bangkok Business Challenge or contact bbc@sasin.edu
