During the fieldwork in Bangkok, students visited several educational institutions, including the Demonstration School of Chulalongkorn University (both primary and secondary divisions), Suankularb Wittayalai School, and Wat Hua Lamphong School. They also explored Thailand’s historical and cultural wonders at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Grand Palace.

In addition, participants conducted field studies in nearby provinces. In Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, they visited Wat Lakchai School (Prachabanlue Rith) and Suan Chomtisa. They also traveled to Pathum Thani to see the King Rama IX Museum of Agriculture, a learning center focused on agriculture and sustainable development.

Following the lectures and fieldwork, students presented their group research findings, reflecting their understanding of the connections between education, society, and development. The presentations also helped students develop ideas for future research topics.

This program created an important platform for collaborative learning and experience sharing among faculty members and students from three countries. It also strengthened cross-cultural understanding and international academic cooperation, made possible through the collaboration of faculty members, alumni, and current students with support from the Faculty of Education at Chulalongkorn University, Tohoku University, and Tsinghua University.

The sense of kinship and warmth found in the Chula community is priceless and a treasure worth keeping.
