Chula Signs MoU with Sun Yat-sen University to Expand International Academic Cooperation

Asst. Prof. Sarayut Supsook, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Saranya Siangarom, Vice Dean for International Affairs and Organizational Communication, and Asst. Prof. Sirintra Vanno, Assistant Dean, participated in a discussion meeting and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on academic cooperation with Sun Yat-sen University. This took place on February 26, 2026, at Sun Yat-sen University, Zhuhai Campus, People’s Republic of China. They were welcomed by Prof. Huang Linchong, Associate Dean for Administration, along with Prof. Lin Kairong and Prof. Xueyou Li, Associate Deans, and the administrative and faculty team from the School of Civil Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University.

The meeting was held at Haiqin Building One. It featured presentations on the School of Civil Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University and an introduction to the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University. This was followed by discussions on directions for cooperation in education and research, culminating in the signing of the agreement to promote future academic collaboration. The scope includes student exchanges, joint research development, and the organization of international academic activities. 

On this occasion, the administrative team from the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University, also visited the laboratories of the School of Civil Engineering to exchange knowledge on engineering technology and innovation.
