Chula Launches Siam Dialogue Policy Forum on Asia and the World

The Institute of Asian Studies at Chulalongkorn University has launched a new policy dialogue platform, “Siam Dialogue @ IAS CU – Emerging Conversations on Asia and the World.” The inaugural session is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. (registration begins at 9:30 a.m.) at Chula Naruemit House. Opening remarks will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University.

Positioned as a new model for policy engagement, Siam Dialogue @ IAS CU is designed to foster in-depth discussions on critical global issues—including geopolitics, economic transformation, technological change, and sustainability—through an Asian lens. The initiative aims to elevate Thailand’s role as a regional hub for intellectual exchange and international policy dialogue.

The inaugural session, themed “OECD and Benefits of Thailand’s Accession,” will feature a keynote address by Ms. Gita Kothari, Director for Legal Affairs and OECD Accession Coordinator. She will be joined by a diverse group of participants from academia, diplomatic circles, government agencies, international policy organizations, and the private sector, as well as student and youth communities.

Those interested in attending can register via the QR code on the event poster or through the online registration form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSduTFYswMm_XHExaONr5Hl5dSDjT-ieHCjZcg_BwjfXEPkjsA/viewform
