Chula Hosts Public Lecture on Innovation and Leadership in Hospitality and Tourism 

The Social Research Institute and CUSRI Academy of Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University, organized a public lecture titled “Innovations and Leadership in Hospitality and Tourism.” The event took place on March 23, 2026, at Chula Naruemit House, where Prof. Dr. Parichart Sthapitanonda, Vice President of Chulalongkorn University, delivered the opening remarks. 

The keynote lecture was presented by Prof. Dr. Kaye Chon, Dean and Chair Professor of the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is widely recognized for his leadership in building the school into a globally recognized institution, ranked No. 1 in the world by three major international ranking organizations. 

The lecture explored key ideas and perspectives on innovation and leadership in the hospitality and tourism industry, including future industry directions, leadership skills required in the AI era, and innovations that are reshaping the global service sector. The event also provided an opportunity for participants to engage in discussion and exchange ideas directly with the speaker.
