Chulalongkorn University, through the Property Management Office and the Chulalongkorn Entrepreneur Organization (CEO Chula), turned Siam Square Walking Street into a hub of youth-driven commerce and creativity events during “Biz & Beat Festival 4” on March 23–24, 2026—billed as “The Biggest Student Marketplace in Thailand,” where young people took center stage to showcase their ideas, businesses, and creative culture.

Dr. Jakaphan Praparujiwong, Director of Chulalongkorn University’s Property Management Office, opened the festival, describing it as a showcase of young people turning ideas into real-world ventures and innovations. He said the event is a hands-on extension of the university’s learning approach—where students test, build, and bring their ideas to life beyond the classroom.

Back for its fourth editionthe Biz & Beat Festival focuses on integrating business knowledge and creativity with real-world experience. At the heart of the event is a live marketplace that serves as a testing ground for aspiring entrepreneurs, allowing students to showcase and sell their products while experimenting with pricing, branding, and customer engagement. The experience helps them sharpen their concepts and innovations, gaining firsthand insight into what it takes to run a business.

The event also featured a “Student Marketplace,” bringing together more than 80 booths from students across the country. Organized into three zones—Beat the Biz competition teams, student-run shops, and selected external vendors—the space offered a lively mix of ideas, products, and styles, reflecting the diversity of creativity among the younger generation.

Another major highlight was the Concert & Entertainment segment, featuring live performances by well-known artists over both days. The event also offered various engaging activities, such as prize giveaways, a photo booth, and sponsor booths, all contributing to a dynamic and enjoyable festival experience.

CEO Chula plays a significant role in supporting students interested in entrepreneurship by providing development opportunities and preparation through various programs and activities. The Biz & Beat Festival serves as an important platform showcasing the outcomes of experiential learning and practical application, helping to cultivate promising young entrepreneurs for the future.

Chula is the place to discover one’s true individuality and the years I spent here were most enjoyable.
