The Property Management of Chulalongkorn University (PMCU) has issued several measures to assist tenants and entrepreneurs during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in Bangkok.
Measure 1: Assist small and medium-sized businesses by exempting the rental and service fees during the temporary closure, following the government’s strategy to contain the COVID-19 infection.
Measure 2: Help business partners by adopting a “no-layoff policy” for outsourced employees, improving confidence and employment stability. The working hours will be adjusted according to the job characteristics to reduce operation risks.
Measure 3: Alleviate and prevent problems from the spread of COVID-19 through two main projects:
3.1 Put forward the Isolation Unit Project, a collaboration of the King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, the Faculty of Medicine, and The OZONE HOTEL (Samyan) to reduce the congestion of patients in hospitals. The project is for low-risk COVID-19 patients who have positive signs of improvement and can leave the hospital to conduct daily activities, but still need to be kept isolated and observed by doctors and nurses from the King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. The Isolation Unit Project provides a place for patients to recuperate in a comfortable environment.
3.2 Start the Alcohol Spray Giveaway Project, a cooperation with Chula Health Street and Suanluang Square to give away alcohol spray to tenants in the Suan Luang and Samyan areas. For further information, contact Ms. Nuchcharin Chalermboon, Division of Communications & Marketing, Property Management of Chulalongkorn University (PMCU) at 0-2218-3590, 08-2450-0668.
