Prof. Dr. Polkit Sangvanich, Dean of the College of Extension and Lifelong Learning for the People of Chulalongkorn University (Chula XL), acting on behalf of Chulalongkorn University President, participated in the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement to drive Thailand’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) industry at MICE Day 2026, held from April 29 to 30, 2026, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
Organized under the theme “MICE in Motion: Empowering MICE, Driving Thailand Toward the Future,” MICE Day 2026 aims to elevate Thailand’s MICE industry to an international level and promote collaboration among the public sector, private sector, and academia. The event was attended by a large number of high-level executives and stakeholders from various sectors.
On this occasion, Chulalongkorn University demonstrated its important role as one of the country’s leading educational institutions, committed to developing human resources and knowledge to support the growth of the MICE industry. This is achieved through partnerships with relevant organizations to strengthen personnel capabilities, research, and innovation, as well as to support sustainable economic and social development. The College of Extension and Lifelong Learning for the People (Chula XL) serves as a key mechanism in enhancing learning and specialized skills tailored to the needs of the MICE industry.
MICE Day 2026 also serves as a major national platform that brings together knowledge, technology, and innovation in the MICE sector, while providing opportunities for knowledge exchange and the building of collaborative networks to drive Thailand toward becoming a global hub for the MICE industry in the future.
