Chula Hosts SBPAC Delegation to Discuss Collaboration on Expanding Educational Opportunities for Youth 

Chulalongkorn University executives welcomed representatives from the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center (SBPAC) to discuss approaches for cooperation in promoting educational opportunities for youth. 

Professor Dr. Parichart Sthapitanonda, Vice President of Chulalongkorn University, represented the University President in welcoming delegates from the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center (SBPAC), led by Captain Chakraphong Apimahathamma, Acting Advisor on Integrated Development of the Southern Border Provinces. 

The visit aimed to explore avenues for cooperation to promote educational opportunities for youth in the southern border provinces, particularly secondary school students, to prepare them for higher education, as well as to develop various forms of academic collaboration. 

On this occasion, Dr. Vorapol Jaroonvanichkul, M.D., Assistant to the President for Curriculum Standards, Curriculum Innovation, and Academic Administration, together with Professor Dr. Polkit Sangvanich, Dean of the Chulalongkorn University College of Extension and Lifelong Learning for the People (Chula XL), and Associate Professor Dr. Supakarn Chamni, Associate Dean, also welcomed the delegation. The meeting took place on April 29, 2026, at the Reception Room, 2nd Floor, Chamchuri 4 Building.
