CU Art Education Students Receive Four Awards at 2020 Higher Education Innovation Contest

Congratulations to CU Art Education students from the Faculty of Education, who won three gold medals and received a research proposal award (level: good) from the 2020 Higher Education Innovation Contest, Group 4: Developing Quality of Life and Creative Economy, at the Thailand Research Expo 2020 on August 5, 2020. The award recipients included:
1. Ms. Natcha Charoenchanakit: received the gold medal and the research proposal award (level: good) for her project on “Educational Games for Promotion of Electrical Circuits and Electronics Learning”. (Project Advisor: Asst. Prof. Pornthep Lerttevasiri)
2. Ms. Chanikarn Khunkaew: won the gold medal for her project on “Product Design Inspired by Multiculturalism in the Old Town of Songkhla Province”. (Project Advisor: Asst. Prof. Pornthep Lerttevasiri)

3. Ms. Thanaporn Saivongpanya: awarded the gold medal for her project on “Khelang Nakorn (Lampang City) Artwork”. (Project Advisor: Asst. Prof. Pornthep Lerttevasiri)

Moreover, two CU students presented their research papers:
1. Mr. Suchart Imsamran presented his research on “Mixed Media Artwork Inspired by Mural Paintings of Wat Phumin, Nan Province: Katthana Kumarn Jataka”, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Soamshine Boonyanata.
2. Ms. Natcha Charoenchanakit presented her research on “Research and Development of Educational Game Innovation to Promote Learning Electrical Circuits and Electronics for Children Aged 12-15 Years”, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Pornthep Lertthevasiri.

All projects were conducted as a part of the subject “Supervised Study in Art”, Academic Year 2018, which the students worked on during their fourth year. At present, the students have graduated and are continuing their studies with a Masters in Art Education in Academic Year 2020.
