Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat stated that today’s working world is undergoing rapid changes driven by technology, economic shifts, and evolving lifestyles. These challenges affect not only business operations but also the well-being and morale of employees who are at the heart of every organization. No organization can grow sustainably if its personnel face stress or burnout alone.

Through its “Impactful Growth” and “Integrated Growth” strategies, Chulalongkorn University continues to strengthen cross-sector collaboration to help drive Thai society forward. The workshop reflected this shared commitment, bringing together the university, the Department of Mental Health, and partner organizations to promote workplace mental health in practical and sustainable ways. The initiative highlighted the role of mental health literacy in building resilient organizations and creating workplace cultures that balance productivity with employee well-being.

The workshop was organized to promote mental health literacy within organizations and deepen understanding of how to create psychologically safe working environments for personnel from various sectors. Participants also had opportunities to exchange perspectives with experts from the Faculty of Psychology at Chulalongkorn University, the Department of Mental Health, and the International Labor Organization.
