Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chula Expands Collaboration for Future Pharmacists

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Chulalongkorn University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Vorasit Vongsutilers, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, participated in the signing ceremony of an academic cooperation agreement between the Department of Medical Services and the Council of Deans of Faculties of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Thailand, together with various pharmaceutical science faculties and institutions. The collaboration aims to enhance professional pharmacy training sites, develop healthcare personnel for the modern public health system, and promote the DMS Identity initiative to produce high-quality pharmacists who meet the needs of Thailand’s healthcare system. The ceremony took place on May 19, 2026, at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University.

This collaboration seeks to connect pharmaceutical knowledge from the education and research sectors to practical applications within healthcare services and medical treatment systems. It also aims to strengthen cooperation between educational institutions and national medical organizations while advancing academic work, research, professional pharmacy training, and pharmaceutical academic services to better respond to the current needs of the public health system.

The signing of this agreement marks another important step in elevating pharmaceutical education by concretely integrating it with the healthcare service system and supporting the development of effective pharmaceutical care standards that align with the context of Thai society.
