Chula Executives Visit Monash University to Strengthen International Academic Collaboration

A delegation of executives from Chulalongkorn University, led by Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, visited Monash University to further strengthen academic collaboration between the two institutions. During the visit, the Chulalongkorn delegation received a warm welcome from Professor Craig Jeffrey, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) and Senior Vice-President, along with senior executives from the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and the Faculty of Arts at Monash University.

This visit provided an important opportunity for representatives from both universities to exchange information about their institutional operations and discuss cooperation across various areas. Topics included the development of dual-degree and joint-degree programs, transnational education initiatives, faculty and student exchange programs, research collaboration, and the possibility of co-hosting international academic conferences in the future. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat and Prof. Craig Jeffrey exchanged commemorative gifts as a symbol of friendship and cooperation between the two institutions.

During the visit, the executives also toured the Monash Innovation Labs and held discussions with relevant academic units to explore further opportunities for collaboration in engineering, innovation, and research.
The visit to Monash University marks another significant step in strengthening the partnership between the two universities, in line with Chulalongkorn University’s mission to advance internationalization, promote innovation, and foster sustainable global research collaboration.
