CU Clarinet Ensemble Represents Thailand at ClarinetFest® 2026 in South Korea
The CU Clarinet Ensemble, the only university clarinet ensemble from Thailand, participated in ClarinetFest® 2026 in Incheon, South Korea, from July 7–11, 2026, in celebration of the ensemble’s 20th anniversary. The ensemble attended the festival under the supervision of Chulalongkorn University’s Office of Art and Culture (CU Art Culture) and was invited by the International Clarinet Association. The group was led by Asst. Prof. Choowit Yurayong and Mr. Wantana Tancharoenpol.
The CU Clarinet Ensemble has maintained a long-standing relationship with the International Clarinet Association and has proudly participated in ClarinetFest® events held in several countries, including:
- ClarinetFest® 2013 in Assisi, Italy
- ClarinetFest® 2015 in Madrid, Spain
- ClarinetFest® 2018 in Ostend, Belgium
Through these international experiences, students, alumni, and faculty members have continuously gained valuable knowledge and inspiration, contributing to the development of clarinet performance and music education in Thailand.
