CU Sports Center Reopens Facilities with Covid-19 Prevention Measures

The Chulalongkorn University Sports Center (CUSC) has reopened its sports facilities from 1 November to 31 December 2021 for CU professors, students, staff, Satit Chula students and senior personnel members. 

The operating hours are Monday to Friday from 07.00 – 18.00 hrs.

Facilities to reopen 

  • Chulalongkorn University Stadium (maximum occupancy of 50 people at any time period).
  • Indoor Stadium 
    – Badminton courts, only up to 4 people allowed per court.
    Reservations must be made online 7 days in advance via www.cusc.chula.ac.th.
    – Basketball, volleyball and Sepak Takraw courts – maximum occupancy is 30 people per sport.
  • Indoor Stadium 2
    – Table tennis – only 2 players per table for no longer than one hour.
    Reservations must be made online 7 days in advance via www.cusc.chula.ac.th.
  • Pétanque terrain/play areas (no more than 4 players per field)
  • Outdoor fitness (no more than 20 people at any time period).

Remark: CU Sport Complex, Chanthanayingyong Gymnasium, Chindarak grounds, Gymnasium 3 and the 25-meter Swimming Pool are still closed for service until further notice.

To prevent the spread of Covid-19, the following measures will be administered:

  1. Scan the QR code to complete a COVID-19 screening assessment.
  2. Show proof of full vaccination (two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine). 
  3. Wear a face mask at all times on the premises, except during the sports activity.
  4. Scan CU NEX or Place CU Staff ID.
  5. Check your body temperature (normal temperature must be no more than 37.5 degrees Celsius).
  6. Wash hands/ apply alcohol gel at the facility.
  7. Maintain social distancing of at least one to two meters.
