CU Faculty Members Win National Awards for Research 2017 and Inventions 2018

Every year Thailand Inventor’s Day is hosted by the National Research Council of Thailand to exhibit noteworthy innovative inventions and acknowledge a selected handful of researchers and inventors for their extraordinary work.  This year’s award winners were publicized on Thursday 11 January 2018, and included 24 CU faculty members and researchers with a total of 25 awards.  The award ceremony was held at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre, during 2-6 February 2018.

 

National Outstanding Researcher Award 2017:

  1. Professor Dr. Prasit Pavasant, Faculty of Dentistry (Medical Science)
  2. Professor Dr. Mongkol Techakumphu, Faculty of Veterinary Science (Agriculture and Biology)

Research Work Award 2017:

  1. Associate Professor Dr. Dachrit Nilubol, for the research project titled,

“Integration of Knowledge in Virus, Evolutionary Genetics, Molecular Epidemiology and Immunology in Solving Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea” (Agriculture and Biology)

Good Research Award

  1. Professor Dr. Sirirat Jitkarnka and Team, for the research project titled, “Capability of Cheap Metals in Substitution of Noble Metals Used in Zeolite Catalysts under Pyrolysis Processes” (Engineering and Industrial Research)
  2. Associate Professor Dr.Piyabut Burikham, for the research project titled,

“Magnetic Status Diagram of High Density Multi-Quark Systems in Quark-Gluon Plasma” (Physical Science and Mathematics)

  1. Associate Professor Dr. Atch Sreshthaputra and Team, for the research project titled,

“Research for the Development of Government-Run Public Housing using Eco-Village Criteria” (Philosophy)

“A Govern-Rule Case Involving the Decision-Making of the Cabinet” (Law)

  1. Professor Dr. Chaiyan Chaiporn, for the research project titled,

“The Constitution of Thailand: A Review of Section 7 Since 1997 Until Present Day (From a Political Science Point of View)” (Political Science and Public Administration)

  1. Associate Professor Rungnapa Pitpreecha and Team, for the research project titled,

“Guidelines for Setting Ethical Persuasion in Public Relations” (Information and Communication Technology)
