Visionary Innovation 2023 Talks to Commemorate Chula Graduate School’s 60th Anniversary

Chulalongkorn University’s Technopreneurship and Innovation Management Program (CU-TIP), in collaboration with the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University, held the CUGS Special Talks EP.8 on “Visionary Innovation 2023: Transformative Leaders in Innovation” on Saturday December 17, 2022, to commemorate the Graduate School’s 60^th anniversary. The talk took place in Samyan Mitrtown Hall 2 in Samyan Mitrtown shopping center. The Minister of Digital Economy and Society, Mr. Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn, presented the opening remarks and a special lecture on the policies, vision, and directions of Thailand’s digital technology development, the support and development of human resources in digital skills, and the changes in laws to respond to the digital technology competition. The Minister was welcomed by the Dean of Graduate School, Chulalongkorn University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yootthana Chuppunnarat.

The event under the theme “Visionary Innovation 2023” took off with Session 1 entitled “Visionary Innovation 2023: Transformative Leaders in Innovation” which was attended by Assoc. Prof. Wilert Puriwat, Dean of Chulalongkorn’s Business School and the Director of CU-TIP, Dr. Teerapon Tanomsakyut, Chief of Mission, Information, and Communications, Charoen Pokphand Group, Mr. Sawat Asdaron, Managing Director, IBM Thailand, and Mr. Thanawat Suthampan, Managing Director, Microsoft Thailand.

The talks continued with Session 2 entitled “Visionary Innovation 2023: Future of Innovation” featuring Dr. Andreas Weigend, Former Professor Standford University and consultant to Agoda, Amazon, and Alibaba, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kavin Asavanant, CU-TIP’s Program Committee member. The CUGS Special Talk EP.8 “Visionary Innovation 2023” aims to enhance knowledge to and inform current graduate students, alumni, and anyone interested in innovations of the vision regarding innovation to be happening in 2023. The talks also provided nationally and internationally renowned innovation experts with a platform to help the audience prepare for future technological changes.
