About
The Thai Music Library originated from a project initiated in 1986 to record, preserve, and compile Thai music.
The project documented knowledge shared by master Thai music teachers and included information graciously contributed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
Officially established in 2006, the library is currently located in the Arts and Culture Building. It provides access to a comprehensive database of Thai music, audiovisual materials, research publications, and exhibitions of musical instruments from the Ancient Thai Orchestra Project. As an important cultural resource, the library serves as a center for learning, research, and the preservation of Thai musical heritage.
