About

The International Buddhist Scripture Hall, located on the 2nd floor of the Maha Chulalongkorn Building at Chulalongkorn University, serves as a repository and preservation center for Buddhist scriptures, texts, and documents from various countries in multiple languages.

Established as an international center for the study, research, and reference of Buddhism, it showcases significant editions of Buddhist scriptures in ancient texts, printed versions, and digital media. The hall features exhibitions that illustrate the development of Buddhism and its global dissemination. Functioning as a museum, learning center, and repository of religious knowledge, it remains continuously open to the general public, students, scholars, and anyone interested in Buddhism.

Our Services

The International Buddhist Scripture Hall serves as a global learning resource and reference center for Buddhism, supporting the study, research, and dissemination of knowledge on Buddhist scriptures and important texts in multiple languages for students, scholars, and the general public. It offers various exhibits and services, including:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
  • Free admission. No advance reservation required.
