Chula Named Best University in Thailand by Best Global Universities 2020 Rankings

Chulalongkorn University has been ranked as Thailand’s best university, according to the Best Global Universities 2020 ranking by U.S. News & World Report. The University has accumulated a total global score of 48.2, landing the 522nd best university in the world, 81st in Asia, and 6th in Southeast Asia.
The University also ranked first in the nation in three subjects: Chemistry, Material Science, and Physics. Moreover, the university came in second for Biology and Biochemistry, Clinical Medicine, Engineering, and Immunology.

This year’s Best Global Universities 2020 featured 11 Thai universities (listed by ranking received): Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, Chiang Mai University, Kasetsart University, King Mongkut University of Technology Thonburi, Prince Songkla University, Khon Kaen University, Thammasat University, Suranaree University of Technology, King Mongkut Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, and Mae Fah Luang University.
