The LLBel program provides the opportunity to attain a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Technology Law. Its comprehensive course structure addresses the worldwide demand for exceptionally skilled lawyers and legal innovators who are prepared for an ever-changing landscape of technological advancement.
The program is conducted in English and offers a diverse selection of courses. Students gain a solid foundation in Thai law along with other areas of study. The interdisciplinary approach pragmatically blends law, business, and technology. The program also incorporates coursework in Economics, Accounting, and Data Science for lawyers, equipping graduates with expertise for their future careers.
Participation fosters understanding of teamwork and collaboration, and provides practice in beneficial “soft” skills. Small class sizes facilitate close consultation with faculty members. The Legal Skills Lab provides opportunities to engage in advanced practice. Students also can take part in a wide array of activities that enhance critical thinking, such as Legal Tech competitions, Moot Court, and Legal Clinic.
The program offers excellent opportunities to engage in externship placements at leading law firms. We also have established strong collaborations with specialized technology companies and industry experts. The program fosters inclusivity by bringing together a diverse class of colleagues, both recent high school graduates and individuals who already have completed other degrees and are seeking to develop expertise in law (Bachelor’s track).
Students have the opportunity to go abroad for an exchange year, drawing upon a robust network of agreements with leading institutions around the world. This allows them to broaden their legal knowledge while experiencing new cultures and environments.
The LLBel program is a full-time program with two semesters per year. The first semester runs from August to December; the second semester runs from January to May.
Courses are not offered in the summer. Students are encouraged to participate in externships or public service activities during this period.
The program prepares students for an extensive range of careers, including law, business, government, science, and public service. In particular, they will be well-positioned to work in the business and technology sectors, as legal-tech innovators or entrepreneurs with legal expertise.
The Faculty of Law offers two application tracks: one for high school graduates and another for those who hold a bachelor’s degree.
