Doctor of Philosophy Program in Pharmaceutical Care

The program enrolls new students once a year.  Application submission takes place between February and the first week of May, followed by interview examination in May.  

For Doctor of Philosophy: the curriculum comprises 48 credits (for master’s degree graduates) -72 credits (for bachelor’s degree graduates) which take approximately 3-5 years in order to complete the study program. There are 4 types available:

• Type 1.1 (for master’s degree graduates, research only);
• Type 2.1 (for master’s degree graduates, research plus coursework);
• Type 1.2 (for bachelor’s degree graduates, research only); and 
• Type 2.2 (for bachelor’s degree graduates, research plus coursework)

Applicant’s Qualifications

For Master’s degree graduates (Type 1.1 and Type 2.1)  

1. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalence
2. The English Proficiency Exam Score meets the university requirement
3. Other qualifications that may be announced by Graduate school in each year or academic program committee approve for applying into the program

For Bachelor’s Degree graduates (Type 1.2 and Type 2.2)

1. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Medicine with the first class honors or equivalence  
2. The English Proficiency Exam Score meets the university requirement
3. Other qualifications that may be announced by Graduate school in each year or academic program committee approve for applying into the program
