The Master Degree Program in Pharmaceutical Care at Chulalongkorn University was established to produce graduate students in several fields of expertise. Students can choose to participate in our faculty members’ research including patient care in different areas, e.g. endocrinology, oncology, nephrology; cardiovascular system (CVS), central nervous system (CNS – neurology, psychiatry), infectious disease, immunology, transplantation, HIV, adverse drug reaction (ADR), clinical trials, pharmacogenomics, pharmacotherapy, health-related outcomes, personalized medicine, population pharmacokinetics, clinical pharmacokinetics, clinical nutrition, clinical pharmacology. The program also provides training and research in acute care, community pharmacy, ambulatory care and health system.
We offer coursework and non-coursework degree programs designed around a core that establishes a strong research foundation, with electives that allow a flexibility to explore specialized areas of interest. The combined MS/PhD degree conveniently allows qualified MS students to pursue a PhD degree to generate new knowledge through scientific research.
Main research areas include hospital pharmacy, pharmacotherapy, clinical pharmacokinetics, clinical nutrition and outcome research, which give students the opportunity to develop projects of their own interest under a faculty mentor and to publish the findings in a peer-reviewed journal.
Chulalongkorn University is one of the most prestigious universities in Thailand. The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences is located in the heart of Bangkok and easily accessible via public transportation. Several clinical facilities are in proximity to the campus, including King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Police General Hospital and University Community Pharmacy.

The program enrolls new students once a year. Application submission takes place between February and the first week of May, followed by interview examination in May.
For Master of Science in Pharmacy: the curriculum comprises 36 credits which take approximately 2 years in order to complete the study program. There are 2 programs available: Plan Kor 1 (thesis only 36 cr.) and Plan Kor 2 (coursework 18 cr. and thesis 18 cr.).
