Global turbulence and uncertainty create complex and hitherto unseen management problems. Rapid technological advances and environmental crises are disrupting businesses, industries, and countries. These challenges demand professional and business practitioners equipped with unique skill sets and approaches. To successfully tackle these challenges, we need real-world researchers. These highly skilled business practitioners and professionals are able to apply systematic research to solve complex problems. The Sasin DBA program has been carefully designed to develop such experts.

Designed for senior managers, policymakers, independent consultants, professionals and working academics with at least 10 years of professional experience, the Sasin DBA accepts candidates from all disciplines and industries who are preparing for more advanced leadership and advisory roles in their organizations and professions.

Research from day one

A highly focused learning process will empower your development as real-world researchers. You will learn online, at your own pace, when and where you choose. Each course will include intensive workshops on campus, or at other locations, usually on weekends.

The blended learning approach ensures you get the maximum payoff for the time you invest, while experiencing the stimulation of group discussions and feedback.

Assignments that ‘plug into’ your research and thesis

Each course assignment will plug directly into your research and, eventually, your thesis. So, you progress in your research journey: step-by-step throughout the program.

Each course assignment has been carefully designed to develop your knowledge and skills in relation to a part of your research process or a component of your thesis.

Admission Requirements for Academic Year 2022:

You can apply to Sasin’s DBA program by following these four simple steps:
1. Complete your online application form;
2. Upload your resume (which must show a minimum of 10 years of management experience);
3. Our Admissions team will contact you within 7 days of your application. Potential DBA program entrants will need to be interviewed at least once;
4. Pay your application fee.

Before you can be eligible to be admitted to the program, you will need to submit the supporting documents listed below, you do not need these for your initial application.

  • Original transcript of a completed master’s degree or equivalent;
  • Non-native English speakers must provide an English language proficiency score (TOEFL/IELTS), taken within five years of your application. If you have studied, or worked, in an English-speaking country, please contact our Admissions team to assess whether the English proficiency test can be waived;
  • One letter of recommendation (using Sasin’s form) from someone who can attest to your research capabilities, determination, and general attitude;
  • ID page of your passport and/or copy of your Thai citizen ID.
