Overview

Chemical and Process Engineering (ChPE) is the latest international program launched by the Department of Chemical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. Managed and operated by the Department of Chemical Engineering, separate from the International School of Engineering, the program was created in response to the 20-year National Strategic Plan that elevates BCG (Bio, Circular, Green) Economy to the national agenda level. Graduates from the program will be able to build successful careers in the chemical and petrochemical industries.

WHY ChPE

The ChPE curriculum retains the essence of chemical engineering, but has the additional specialization in bio-process engineering and sustainable energy, allowing for connections to future trends.
The curriculum structure is designed to fulfill the requirements for program accreditation by the Council of Engineers Thailand. Graduates will be able to apply and obtain the license to practice engineering as a profession in the Chemical Engineering field.
The ChPE curriculum gives students the flexibility to participate in co-operative internships with industries, or join a foreign exchange program for one semester without having to alter the study plan.
