1. For the 14th consecutive year,Chulalongkorn University is ranked the first in Thailand according to the QS World University Rankings 2023 (since 2009) and is placed 224th in the world.
Chulalongkorn University is Thailand’s first and remains one of the pioneering universities since 1917. Founded by King Vajiravudh in honour of his father, King Chulalongkorn, the university promotes higher education in arts, the humanities and sciences. Recently celebrated its centennial, the university strives to create innovations and train highly qualified personnel to play its part in strengthening the global community at large.
2. As the first Master’s degree Expressive Arts Therapy programme in Thailand, we aim to produce art therapists equipped with excellent knowledge and skills. The impact of such valuable art therapists is to fill the gaps of mental health issue in our society as a whole, for the healthy mind and body of the people in Thailand and around the world. Moreover, the programme has started the collaboration with international experts and lecturers to bring in a well-round knowledge, experience and globally recognized institution to Chulalongkorn University and its students.
3. We integrate various media of expression-visual arts, drama, storytelling, dance and movement and so on-to offer therapists a variety of modalities they can apply in their practice that suit the needs of different clients. In this two-year programme, students will acquire knowledge on methods and techniques of expressive arts therapy, research methods, assessment, and ethics in clinical practice, as well as field training under supervision. This is to enable students to develop new and appropriate interventions for varied populations in different settings.
