Chula Strengthens International Media Ties Through Media Fellowship 2026

Chulalongkorn University continues to build its international media network through the Chula Media Fellowship 2026 program, aiming to expand global awareness of the university’s knowledge base and innovations.
On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Chamchuri 4 Building, Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, together with Asst. Prof. Ake Pattaratanakun, Chief Brand Officer of Chulalongkorn University and University Spokesperson, welcomed partner journalists under the Chula Media Fellowship 2026 program.
This year, the university is hosting representatives from leading media organizations, including Mr. Keita Yoshimitsu of The Tokyo Shimbun and The Chunichi Shimbun, Ms. Putri Demes Dharmesty of CNN Indonesia, and Mr. Htet Aung Phyoe of Nikkei Asia as media fellows to strengthen mutual relations and explore opportunities for future collaboration in international news reporting. The focus is on promoting knowledge, research, and the role of Chulalongkorn University in driving society toward sustainability.

This is the third consecutive year that The Chula Media Fellowships program offers international journalists the opportunity to experience Thai culture and life within the university community up close while engaging in in-depth exchanges on academics, innovation, and student lifestyles. This contributes towards long-term understanding and collaboration, serving as an important force in strengthening the global communication network in the future.
