Chula and Tourism Authority of Thailand Co-organize “Nan’s Goal Low Carbon” Event and Sign MOU to Promote Sustainable Tourism

The Environmental Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University in collaboration with Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Nan province, co-organized the event “Nan’s Goal Low Carbon” from June 30, 2023 to July 2, 2023 at Phu Phiang Model Learning Center – Rakpanan, Wat Phrathatchaehang, Nan province. Presided over by the Governor of Nan province, Mr. Wiboon Waewbandit, the event was held to encourage healthy and sustainable tourism development and work towards the concept of a net-zero emissions tourism city. 

Additionally, Chulalongkorn University and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation on Sustainable Tourism Development, in order to share information, support cognitive development, and transfer innovations and the environment to the tourism industry in various sustainable ways.
