Chulalongkorn Congratulates Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science Lecturers for International Recognition as Thai Inventors and Researchers

Chulalongkorn University applauds faculty members of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science for receiving certificates of recognition in the Internationally Outstanding Inventors Awards Ceremony organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) on Monday June 26, 2023, at Makawan Rangsan Room, 3rd floor, Royal Thai Army Club Vibhavadi.

The distinguished recipients are as follows:

•  Prof. Pol.Capt. Pharm. Dr. Suchada Sukrong, received a gold medal in the 16^th International Invention and Innovation Show (INTARG® 2023) in Katowice, the Republic of Poland, the FIRI Award for Best Invention in the first institute of inventors and researchers of Iran (FIRI), the Islamic Republic of Iran, and a Special Prize from the Industrial Property Office of The Czech Republic, The Czech Metallurgical Society, for the “rapid DNA immunochromatographic assay for detection of toxic Aristolochia species, the plants responsible for aristolochic acid nephropathy.”

• Assoc. Prof. Pharm. Dr. Jittima Luckanagul received the Gold Award in the 34^th International Innovation & Technology Exhibition 2023 (ITEX 2023), in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, held on May 11-12, 2023, and the Best Invention Trophy from World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA) for the “Hy-N, self-assembled functional nanogels for molecular delivery with enhanced hyaluronic bioactivity.”
