Students of Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, Recognized in International Contest

Chulalongkorn University congratulates students from the Department of Art, Music, and Dance Education, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University on receiving awards at the “Internationally Outstanding Inventors Awards Ceremony” organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) at Makawan Rangsan Room, 3rd floor, Royal Thai Army Club Vibhavadi. The group of students won 5 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals in the quality-of-life development and creative economy group, including awards for project proposals and university innovations. The awarded works are as follows:  

Graduate level: Gold Medals  

  • Craftify: a platform for collaborative woven handicraft creation by Miss Preeyasri Promjinda 
    Awards received:  
    • Gold medal  
    • Best project proposal  
    • Best innovation  
  • “Lai Nan Mee Suk”: an activity for the elderly to enjoy themselves with folk arts by Mr. Suchart Imsamran  
    Awards received:  
    • Gold medal  
    • Good project proposal  
    • Good innovation 
  • “Sand-Sanook”: a play kit featuring pearlescent sand from mussel shells by Mr. Suchart Imsamran 
    Awards received:   
    • Gold medal  
    • Best project proposal  
  • Creative Art Box (Klong Sang Klong Silpa) by Miss Chantana Chaiopa received the gold medal. 
  • “Barry Can Do series: tales to develop 7Q skills for early childhood” by Mr. Kittichai Chandang received the gold medal.  

Graduate Level: Silver Medals 

  • Art learning innovation to boost artistic experience for the public by Miss. Nutcha Eknawa  
  • Virtual art learning website in Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) by Mr. Pitakpong Pongkrapun 
  • Activity kit for learning Thai local woven fabric wisdom: signature fabric of Muang Sri by Miss Ussana Pimporn 

Graduate Level: Bronze Medals  

  • Activity kit for creating virtual chinaware patterns by Miss Yanarin Pakpian  
  • Learning kit for studying about Hindu gods by Miss Mutita Thepbangjak
