Taiwan Resource Center for Chinese Studies (TRCCS) Opens at the CU Library

The Office of Academic Resources at Chulalongkorn University will organize the opening Ceremony of the Taiwan Resource Center for Chinese Studies (TRCCS) at the CU Library on Tuesday, 30 October 2018 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The event will take place on the 7th Floor of the Office of Academic Resources.

 

Activities on event day include:

  • The Signing of a Cooperative Agreement Between the National Central Library, Republic of China (Taiwan) and Chulalongkorn University, Thailand
  • A seminar on “Taiwan Lectures on Chinese Studies: Thai Studies & Thai Images in Taiwan” by Professor Pei-hsiu Chen, Professor of Department of Southeast Asian Studies, National Chi Nan University
  • The launch of the Taiwan Resource Center for Chinese Studies Corner, which contains books on Chinese civilization curated by CU professors and researchers along with an introduction on how to use the digital library linked from the National Central Library, Republic of China (Taiwan), and other electronic resources. The digital library is free for  CU Library members.
  • The opening ceremony of The Beauty and Grace of Thailand, an exhibition of Thailand in Taiwan
