“MedUMORE 1-2-10 Med Ed Exponential” Celebrates MedUMORE and Launches an MOU between Chulalongkorn’s Faculty of Medicine and 10 Top Medical Organizations 

The Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, held the “MedUMORE: 1-2-10 MedEd Exponential,” a signing ceremony of a in medical education, on June 11, 2024, at Sodsri Wongtuaythong Meeting Room, 18th floor, Phor Por Ror Building, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, to commemorate 2 years of the “MDCU MedUMORE” platform. “MDCU MedUMORE” is Thailand’s number 1 medical learning platform, which received over 2,000,000 views this year. Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Medicine signed an MOU with 10 of Thailand’s top medical organizations, namely the Medical Council of Thailand, Srisavarindhira Thai Red Cross Institute of Nursing, Thai Association for the Study of the Liver (THASL), Thai Rheumatism Association, Thai Hypertension Society, Thai Red Cross Eye Bank, Transplantation Society of Thailand, The Medical Technology Council of Thailand, Faculty of Medicine, University of Health Sciences, Lao PDR., and Thailand Association of Social Workers.  

The event began with a welcome speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Sittipunt, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, and Director of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. Then, Prof. Dr. Nijasri Charnnarong, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Medicine, gave a summary of the concepts and directions of MedUMORE titled “From 1 to 10: the Next Steps of MedUMORE” on the occasion of its 2 years of operation and 2 million views. The signing ceremony of the MOU in knowledge exchange on the MedUMORE platform with 10 leading medical organizations followed. Asst. Prof. Dr. Surin Assawawitoontip, Assistant Dean for Academic Services, Faculty of Medicine, demonstrated how to use MedUMORE. The event also featured a special talk on “Future Education, Future Learning for Future Healthcare” by Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, Acting President of Chulalongkorn University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, and AM Dr. Ittaporn Kanacharoen, Secretary General of the Medical Council of Thailand. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Sittipunt moderated the talk.
