Chulalongkorn University’s Bangkok Campus
Chulalongkorn University is bringing back the HPAIR Asia Conference to Bangkok for the first time in 27 years.
To be held August 21- 25, the “CU-HPAIR Asia Conference 2024” will be co-hosted by Chulalongkorn and Harvard at Chulalongkorn University’s Bangkok campus under the theme of “Reimagining Connectivity: Building Bridges in a Globalized Society”. Leading businesspeople and young leaders worldwide are expected to attend the event.
Being selected to co-host the event for the first time marks the success of Chula and Thailand to be acknowledged by the international community. It is also a good opportunity for Chula students to show their talent in organizing this conference and promoting Thai culture and its aesthetics.
Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations or “HPAIR” is a student-led project created by Harvard University as a forum for young leaders to engage and learn about economic, political, and social issues in Asia through an international conference conducted by Harvard students. Moreover, this event invites worldwide businesspersons and authority figures to deliver inspirational speeches. Since 1991, Harvard University has organized Asia Conferences in more than 34 Asian countries.
The conference allows delegates to discuss and connect with numerous speakers from both Thailand and abroad, including Emmy Kan, the senior vice president and president of Starbucks Asia Pacific, H.E. Igor Driesmans, EU Ambassador to Cambodia and EU Special Envoy for Myanmar, Mr.Smittipon Srethapramote, the Chief Executive Officer of BanpuNEXT, and Mr. Yod Chinsupakul, the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of LINEMAN Wongnai.
This is a great opportunity for young professionals to engage in a cultural exchange at the conference through a variety of activities, including the INight show which encourages each country’s representatives to showcase their cultural heritage and pride, and the HPAIRx session, a speech that inspires self-improvement.
Chulalongkorn University’s success in being the hosting partner with Harvard University for HPAIR ACONF2024 brings Thailand to the forefront of the international academic sphere.
This conference has received support from the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB). For more information, please visit https://www.hpair.org/ and Instagram @cuhpair or @officialhpair.
