The topics included approaches to preventing microplastic pollution in ASEAN countries, from both international and local perspectives, policies regarding microplastics, and research on the impact of microplastics on human safety.

This meeting marked the beginning of establishing a network of academics and stakeholders in the field of microplastic pollution that affects fisheries and human health in ASEAN countries, with the goal of developing mutual policy proposals to address this issue.

The sense of kinship and warmth found in the Chula community is priceless and a treasure worth keeping.
