On August 31, 2024, the executive team of Chulalongkorn University, led by Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, Acting President of Chulalongkorn University, along with Associate Professor Dr. Siridej Sujiva, Acting Vice President of Chulalongkorn University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanasin Chutintaranond, and Assistant Professor Dr. Vitchatalum Laovanich, Acting Assistant Vice Presidents, met with the administrators, faculty members, staff, and students of the School of Agricultural Resources and the Regional Learning Network Center of Chulalongkorn University. The meeting was warmly welcomed by Mr. Chainarong Wongyai, the Governor of Nan Province.
On this occasion, the Chulalongkorn University administration donated items collected from the Chulalongkorn community as part of the “Flood Relief for Nan” project, including educational supplies for Ban Tha Kam School (Trairatbumrung) and the Tha Kam community in Tha Wang Pha District, Nan Province.
These areas were affected by the recent floods in Nan Province which caused damage to school buildings and educational equipment. The welcome was extended by Mrs. Nadviporn Chantapromma, Director of the Nan Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, Mrs. Prichat Thana, Director of the Education Promotion Group, Ms. Raksiri Jitaree, an Educational Supervisor at Nan Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, and Mr. Phadungsak Lamnoi, Director of Ban Tha Kam School (Trairatbumrung), along with teachers and students.
