Chula Welcomes the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to Discuss Expanding Academic Cooperation 

On September 3, 2024, at Chula Narumit Pavilion, Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, Acting Vice President of Chulalongkorn University, along with university administrators, welcomed H.E. Mr. Darkey Ephraim Africa, Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to Thailand, and his delegation. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the potential expansion of academic collaboration between Chulalongkorn University and universities and educational and research institutions in South Africa, particularly the University of Cape Town.

The discussions also included support for activities under the Nelson Mandela Center for Conflict Resolution, Violence Prevention, and Human Security at the Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University.
