Bangpho Living Lab by Chulalongkorn’s Faculty of Architecture Named International Best Practice in Sustainability in ISCN Report 2024

Chulalongkorn University’s “Bangpho Living Lab,” by the Faculty of Architecture, has been named 2024 Best Practice by ISCN (International Sustainable Campus Network), an international network of over 100 leading educational institutions from 32 countries.
The Bangpho Living Lab research project is an example of collaboration with the community to achieve sustainability. It presents the role of a research university in creating positive social impact. The project is categorized under “Campus as a Living Lab” and placed alongside works in the same category from MIT, University of Toronto, National Taiwan University, University of Cape Town, and others.
The research team comprises Asst. Prof. Prin Jhearmaneechotechai, Head of the Project, and researchers from the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University, namely Assoc. Prof. Phanchalath Suriyothin, Asst. Prof. Sirintra Vanno, Dr. Pymporn Chaiyaporn, Sirintra Aursirisub, and Teema Muekthong. Bangpho Living Lab is funded by CU Social Innovation Hub.
