Professor Dr. Narin Hiransuthikul, Former Vice President of Chula Awarded Outstanding Individual Award 2024 in the Administration Category by the Ministry of Public Health 

Professor Dr. Narin Hiransuthikul, who previously served as Vice President for Strategic Planning, Budgeting, and Health at Chulalongkorn University, received the first runner-up award in this category during the 17th National Health Promotion and Environmental Hygiene Conference 2024, under the theme “Harmony Health: A Journey to Well-being.” The event was held on October 9, 2024, at Miracle Grand A – C, Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, and was presided over by Dr. Amporn Benjaphonpitak, Director of the Department of Health. 

The Department of Health, under the Ministry of Public Health, presented the award to recognize outstanding individuals and organizations for their exemplary work in promoting health and environmental hygiene. The award highlights those who have contributed to maintaining high standards in health promotion, serving as a model for innovative and evidence-based practices. These achievements have garnered widespread recognition from various organizations and the public. 

Professor Dr. Narin has made significant contributions to the field of health and environmental hygiene. In 2023, he was elected Chairperson of the Thai University Network for Health Promotion by the ASEAN University Network (AUN).
