Chula Korean Major Students Win 1st Place in Korean Speech Contest 2024 in Seoul, South Korea 

The University extends its congratulations to the 4th-year students majoring in Korean from the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University. The CBS 보이는 라디오 팀 team won the 1st place award in the national Korean Speech Contest 2024 (2024 태국 한국교육원 한국어 말하기 대회), held on October 16, 2024, in Seoul, South Korea. 

This year’s contest theme, “Diversity Leading the Way to the Modern Era,” invited participants to speak on “Experiences Related to Diversity or Future Aspirations.” The CBS 보이는 라디오 팀 team consists of Ms. Pornpreeya Srikiao, Ms. Natnicha Boonyuen, Ms. Supapich Chalermkiat, Mr. Natrut Srisinchom, and Mr. Natkrit Timsee. 

The students were awarded a 50% scholarship for one semester at Duksung Women’s University or full sponsorship for Korean language training, with funding support provided by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Thailand.
