Chula President Attends the Beijing Forum 2024 and Delivers a Lecture on “Digital Intelligence Education” 

On November 2, 2024, Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Thiraput Pitichat, Assistant to the President for Organizational Development, attended the 21st Beijing Forum 2024. The conference took place at the Da Xue Tang Conference Center, Peking University, People’s Republic of China. On this occasion, Professor Dr. Wilert delivered a keynote address titled “Global Innovation Forum on Digital Intelligence Education: Fostering an Inclusive, Equitable, and Collaborative Future.”

The Beijing Forum 2024 was held under the main theme, “Harmony of Civilizations and Prosperity for AI—The Era of Innovation and Advancement of Mankind.” The aim of the forum is to promote collaboration in the humanities and education, as well as to support progress through innovation and harmony between civilizations. 

Established in 2004, the Beijing Forum is a renowned annual academic conference focusing on the humanities, social sciences, and global development. It serves as a platform for scholars, policymakers, and educators to discuss critical global issues and foster cultural exchange. The forum also features keynote lectures and discussions on significant topics. 

The sense of kinship and warmth found in the Chula community is priceless and a treasure worth keeping.
