The Mexican Ambassador to Thailand Visits Chula, Explores Expanded Cooperation and Strengthened Relations 

On April 11, 2025, at the reception room on the 7th floor of Chamchuri 4 Building, Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, welcomed H.E. Ilse Lilian Ferrer Silva, Ambassador of the United Mexican States to Thailand, on her visit to Chulalongkorn University. Also present to welcome the ambassador were Associate Professor Dr. Palanee Ammaranond, Vice President for International Affairs and Global Network, and Associate Professor Dr. Pasuree Luesakul, Associate Dean for International Affairs at the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University. 

On this occasion, the Ambassador expressed interest in expanding cooperation with Chulalongkorn University in various fields, including research and business. The Embassy of Mexico and Chulalongkorn University have maintained a close relationship, particularly through collaboration in language and cultural education at the Faculty of Arts. 

Moreover, in order to further strengthen the good relations between Chulalongkorn University and Mexico, the Ambassador extended an invitation for the university to participate in the celebration of Mexico’s Independence Day this coming September.
