Wheel Chair We Share Project for Cats and Dogs

The Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with Professor Dr. Chakr Pichaironnarongsongkram Foundation, co-organized the “35th Wheel Chair We Share Project” for cats and dogs on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the 60th Anniversary Building. The workshop was for students and volunteers to learn about making wheelchairs for disabled pets.  The opening remark was given by Professor Dr. Sanipa Suradhat, Associate Dean (Policy and Planning Affairs), Faculty of Veterinary Science. Over 120 participants, with 32 pets, joined the session.

The workshop was a part of the project called “Small Animal Teaching Hospital, CU: An Animal Hospital for Learning”.  In celebration of its 84th anniversary, the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University, wishes to strengthen the bond between pet owners and their pets, promote animal welfare, and transfer the knowledge and awareness about the role of veterinarians.
