Vice President of Tohoku University Visits Chula

On Tuesday, 10 September 2019, Prof. Dr. Kazuko Suematsu, Special Advisor to the President, Tohoku University, Japan, visited Chulalongkorn University to hold discussions, strengthen relationships, and reaffirm the academic and research cooperation between both universities.  Professor Toshiya was welcomed by Dr. Jessada Salathong, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, at Chamchuri 4 building.

Tohoku University was recognized as one of Japan’s top three national universities by the Japanese Government in June 2017, with the ability to lead in global education and research.  The university is recognized for international innovative research, especially in the fields of Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering.
