CSII is proud to celebrate another huge milestone for BAScii students!

Airada Songpatthanayuth and Benedict Boisclair, senior students at the Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (CSII), took home the 2nd Runner-Up and a fast-track to a 1.5 million THB grant at the TED Youth Startup Championship 2025—Central Region Pitching Stage 1, held on April 30 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

Their winning project, EventLink, is a smart trade show management platform that provides software and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) solutions to streamline event planning from start to finish, covering everything from website creation to real-time data tracking and post-event analysis. Their goal? To make Thailand the No. 1 Exhibition Hub in Asia by reducing organizer workload, cutting costs, and maximizing ROI.

EventLink impressed judges not only with its innovation and scalability but also with its real-world readiness. In fact, the platform has already been put to use – including as the official management system for the BAScii Capstone Showcase 2025—proving that student-led innovation isn’t just theoretical but impactful and practical.

I’m incredibly happy! Just 3 months into starting EventLink, we’ve been recognized as one of the top youth startups of the year. Third place but at a stage I most respect. 1.5M Baht POC grant (our second!). I had the chance to meet some of the most inspiring young teams in Thailand. It sparked something in me – a fire to grow, to give back, and to create real impact for Thailand and beyond. This is just the beginning for EventLink. 3 months in – many bold years to go. – Airada Songpatthanayuth

Backed by Synergy Innovation Co., Ltd., their assigned TED Fellow, the EventLink team earned the coveted Fast-Track Pass to receive a 1.5 million THB Proof of Concept (POC) grant from the TED Fund. As a result, they were able to skip the standard pitch round thanks to their outstanding performance and previous track record with TasteMap. Administered by Thailand’s National Innovation Agency (NIA), the TED Fund supports young entrepreneurs, with projects such as EventLink, and researchers by providing funding and mentorship to turn innovative ideas into viable business ventures.

This recognition reflects the CSII spirit at its core: bold ideas, built from hands-on experience, and ready to scale. At BAScii, they don’t just encourage students to think big – they give them the tools to make it happen!
