Chulalongkorn University’s Halal Science Center Appointed as Thailand’s SMIIC Representative 

Congratulations to the Halal Science Center Chulalongkorn University, which has been officially recognized as Thailand’s representative to the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC). This recognition, along with accreditation from the Central Islamic Council of Thailand and the Halal Standards Institute of Thailand, marks a proud milestone for both the center and the country, reflecting Thailand’s growing leadership in Halal science and international cooperation. 

This recognition is a tremendous honor for the Halal Science Center. It underscores a strong commitment to advancing Halal science and highlights Thailand’s readiness to play a meaningful role in shaping global standards. 

It also reaffirms Thailand’s potential and key role in the Halal sector, as well as its close collaboration with the international community in working toward a unified global Halal standard.
