Chula’s Office of Academic Affairs Welcomes PSU Delegation for Study Visit and Knowledge Exchange

The Office of Academic Affairs at Chulalongkorn University, led by Ms. Nonglak Chaowanamethakul, Director of the Curriculum Standards and Quality Division, and Ms. Wasaphaphon Yothachan, Director of the Academic Mission Advancement Division, welcomed a delegation from the Office of Educational and Learning Innovation, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), for a study visit and knowledge exchange session. The visit took place on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Meeting Room 205, Chamchuri 3 Building, Chulalongkorn University, with staff from the Office of Academic Affairs also in attendance to greet the visiting team.

Professor Dr. Parichart Sthapitanonda, Vice President of Chulalongkorn University, presided over the opening of the event and presented an overview of the operations of the Office of Academic Affairs as well as related departments.

Assistant Professor Dr. Vorapol Jaroonvanichkul, Assistant to the President for Curriculum Standards, Curriculum Innovation, and Academic Affairs, and Acting Director of the Office of Academic Affairs, delivered a presentation and engaged in discussion on key academic functions. These included curriculum management in accordance with quality and standards, faculty development, academic advancement, and student admissions. 

This visit helped foster mutual learning and the exchange of experiences between the two institutions—PSU and Chulalongkorn University—providing valuable insights for enhancing teaching and learning management, curriculum administration, faculty development, and academic quality assurance. The collaboration aims to align university practices with both national and international educational quality standards. 

The sense of kinship and warmth found in the Chula community is priceless and a treasure worth keeping.
