Chulalongkorn University held a ceremony on Thursday, September 4, 2025, to present Gold Honor Pins to staff members retiring this year. The event took place at the Poonsapaya Navawongs na Ayudhya Room, 3rd Floor of the Phra Mingkwan Thai Education Building, Faculty of Education.
The ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Chairman of the Chulalongkorn University Council, who presented the Gold Honor Pins and expressed his congratulations, gratitude, and respect to the retirees. Professor Dr. Kanaphon Chanhom, Vice President of the University, delivered the opening remarks, while Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, and other university executives were also in attendance.
The program included a cultural performance by the Office of Art and Culture Management and group photos of the retirees with the University Council President.
The Gold Honor Pin is a symbol of Chulalongkorn University’s heartfelt gratitude to staff members who have devoted 25 years or more of service. It is presented to those departing the university due to retirement, resignation, end of employment status, or passing away as a lasting token of appreciation for their commitment and contributions. This year, 170 honorees received the Gold Honor Pin, marking a proud celebration of their dedication to the Chula community.
